FIRE.
ViAt 2.30 a.m. on Monday morning the* residence of Mrs Coleman wa.s entirely consumed by fire. The origin of the fire is so far as we have heard u4t|»6wn. An official investigation take place. The want means of giving the alarm was again apparent, but few people away from the vicinity knowing anything of the occurrence till the following day. Some few articles o£ furniture were saved, Mr Jordan and others rendering .all assistance «.in power. . JThe I flame* had too great a hold on the building to' allow] of their subjugatign being eye.n attempted.
