Death from Delirium.
(united press association.) . : Auckland, April 8. The Ringarooma, which arrived from Sydney to-night, reports the death of a saloon passenger named James Henty at ;s o'clock this evemnli, 1 off ! the' inland pf'Kawau. The supppsed.cause pf death war delirium tremens. Deceased had only three drinks on board. He is the sobe of one of Messrs Henty Brothers, of Melbourne, ana was the manager of the Bank t>f ew Zealand agency, Sydney, to which he had a return ticket. On the second day out he began to talk incoherently and wildly and was put into a separate cabin and attended to by the steward. He talked aboat ringing up the telephone for his wife and children. This afternoon, at 5 o'clock the captain went into deceased's cabin to see him, and told him he would soon be on shore. Mr Henty got up and dressed, and put on his hat m oixler to go ashore, when he dropped down dead. He appears to have been about 35 years of asre. -■. ■ ■
