Auckland, March 25. j The following remarkable episode ' took 1 place at. the inqnost held at Helerisville on the body 'of Mary Brown, 1 ah elderly widow, who expired somewhat suddenly yesterday from an apoplectic fir. At t lie conclusion of tlio Inqiifist, 1 the foreman of the jury, 'Mr' Curtis Moore, rose, an<f, addressing the coroner, said that the j ja y directed Him to express to the coroner, and through him -t6 ihe public, tlifiir feelings of indignation on learning 'that a wonian m a, township had lain for twelve hours m an apoplectic fit withoiit oiedical attenfiane'e, wliilst'two professors of mefli■cine were m the district. It was no it.se disguising their feelings m the matter. They ni list and would hive a | sober 'medical gentleman in'th'e 'town, who cbul'd be available m every case'of "emergency. '"The" two persoiis who resided amongst the*n, were, from their hah' its/ totally unfit and. i»nreliable--m! ■■/abtj, tliey were d disg'mbe to the'medical' profession. The jn ry requested the coroner, Mr A'. Bonar, to duly I'epre- . sent their feeling m this, matter to the j proper authorities. : '
