AUCKLAND STOCK QUOTATIONS.
Mr A. Buckiand's Report. Auckland, March 8. Cajttle, Sheep, &c— Mr Buckland reports that at' Waiuhu on Saturday j (March 1) there was- a full muster of stock. Dairy cows were m good m- J q'uiiy. Store cattle fetched late values; ewes, 10s ; lambs, 8s 6d. At Pulcekohe, on Monday^ (March 3), there, was an unusuaUy full muster ofoattle, and full j attendance:; of buyers. Good prices J were obtained . Ac the sale of stoclc at the farm ofJVErP.' C.T/iylor, ewes, all {till- mouthed, fetched 6s 6d to 10s 9d, ; averaging t9s ; lambs,; 6& At Reniuera oh Thursday (March 6), dairy cows of moderate quality wprp yftrded m full numbers!, but barely maintained their values. Store cattle are dull of sale. Aged cows and; fat cattle were m less ! than usual numbers, jt was a very I irregulSri sale,' and prie'eV were highest •at .the cqmuiencement and conclusion ■oi the sale. Beef was worth 18s to 22s per lOOlbs.. Sheep were yarded m usual number and sliglitly better worths Fat calves were in-better demand. Fewfat lambs yarded and fetched extreme prices, 14s to 17s. Pigs .m steady demand at late values. Averages-?- Q i steer*, £8 lls ; 8 steers, £7 6s; 8 steers, 15s; 16 cows, £5 7s 61I ; 360 wethers, 14s 9d ; 140 owes, 14s; 58 ewes, lC4a 9d. :
