THE SHOOTING SEASON.
The shooting season for native game for the Bangitikoi and Wanganui dis* triots has been eazetted as sommencini; from the Ist of March, instaut. It ii a strange oversight tho Fielding Starj that the Manawatu district has been overlooked m this matter. The season for shooting native game is now virtually on, and the season for imported game is close upon us, but from recent Gazettes to hind ho notice whatever is given as to when tbe season for either native or imported game commences m the Manawatu. The oversight is causing great disappointment to sportsmen.
