(Before Judge Hakdca.stle.) CIVIL CASE. Wood v, ton don .—Claim, £110 for wages. Mr Baker for plaintiff, and Mr Perkins for defendant. Counsel were heard for and against judgment being given against plaintiff for amount of set off. Finally an adjournment was granted till March 27th, to allow Mr Baker to look up a similar case which he believed had been previously decided, in which a set off in excess of plaintiff's original claim had not been allowed, plaintiff to pay defendant's cost of adjournment and £2 2s counsel's fee. IN BANKRUPTCY, Chas. Stubbs;— Granted. Mr Perkins stated that he had no further opposition to make to debtor's discharge, the trustee having decided to make application to the Land Court. Win. Rapley. — Discharge granted, to take place at the expiration oi 12 months. Debtor stated he went into business without a farthing of his own money. Borrowed £50 to pay the cash part, of the purchase of the business, and got a bill backed by his mother for the balance. Had been in business two years, and had got into debt £350... Gave bill of sale over stock and effects to his stepfather. '. <. Jf. H. Roberts.— l)ischarge granted. IN CHAMBERS. Probate granted — H. Bowater. Hoana Teria te pauau. , ' .IN BE KING'S ESTATE. Application for order to disallow T. King's claim in estate of J. King, was being argued this afternoon, Mr Izard for the opposing Wellington oreditors, and Mr Perkins for T. King.
