HARBOUR BOARD BLOCK.

[Herald]. The work on the continuation of the Taonui Road to the Harbor Board block ift proceeding rapidly, and had it not bean for the recent wet weather, it would have been completed by this. As it is, however, good progress has been made, the whole of the bush having been felled, and about 100 chains of road formed. Mr H. J. Reid, who has the contract, which includes about 130 chains of falling and formation, informs us that if the fino weather continue?, the work will be completed m about two months. The road skirting the endowment block is already formed, and the road now being made by Mr Reid will give the settler?, of whom there are about 30, a way out from their properties.
