RAM FAIR.

; We remind our readers of Messrs Steveus and Gorton's annual ram fair, to take place to-morrow at the Bulls Sale Yards. The sale will commence at 1 o'clock sharp, the catalogue being the most extensive that has ever been previously announced . There will probably be a Very large attendance of buyers' from all pans of the Noi ih Island, as the class of stock advertised is now< m belter demand. There are catalogued no less than five hundred pure-bred rams and ewes, roost of them from, the best bred flocks m the district, "'and some from Canterbury. There will also be offered about seven thousand sheep of other classes five hundred head of cattle, including, some splendid, beef, and a pure- bred bull. No horses will be entered, as the other stock are so numerous. A very, successful sak is looked forward -to, although bad weather may doubtless prove detrimental. ::
