Elsewhere will be fouud two advertisenaents ia connection with Governmeut woi-ks. One is for tenders for the Tahoraite. Station Building Contract" No 2 (including eight buildings.) This contract is on the WellingtonNapier line of railway. Tenders will be received at the Public Works office, Wellington, until noon of Wednesday, the 29th of February. Specifications and" general conditions can be seen at the ra'lway station, Palmerston North. The other tender is for the timber contract m connection with the Auckland passenger station, which was previously'advertised,but for which no eligible tenders were received. Conditions and specifications can be seen at the railway stations ut Palnierston North and Feilding, and also at the Post Office, Woodville. , Tenders must be forwarded ?6 as' to be received at the Public Works Office, Wellington, hot later than noon on Wednesday, 13th of February,/: .- ' ' , "
