TESTIMONIALS. The Eev J Myers [ex-President of the United Methodist Free Church | wrtes— Hanover-street, Leeds, March 24th, 1872 1 have pleasure m testifying how rapidly and effectually Bastes 's Lung Preserver has acted m allaying cough and irritation of the chest m the case of my wife, who hasseveral times been under the necessity of using it during the winter. * From Dr 3 Ewart, MBCSL, Ac— T am very much opposed to patent medicines generally, and totally discountenance the Balsams, Oxymels, Elixirs, Syrups, and other emanations of unprincipled empirics; but I regard your Lung Preserver as a really good preparation, entirely free from those qualities which render mest patent medicines dangerous, and possesaed of those tohib arid stimulating properties which render it a treasure to those who suffer from the exhausting effects of pulmonary disease and chest affections generally. In cases of asthma it aui<»kly cuts short the paroxysm. In chronic b.-jnehitis or witter cough it is useful ; the dwjnarge of mucus is greatly assisted, and the wheezing and difficulty of breathing are greath relieved by it. In acute bronchitis it is also beneficial, and whilst it tends to check inflammation, it promotes expectoration, and thus relieves the laborious and difficult breathing so general m these attacks. As a cough medicine, for persons of al] ages, it is excellent,— J Ewabt, MECS. From Eev W B Marten, Wesleyan Minister— Chr.stshur^n, 2nd Augusf, 1872.— Having suffered considerable annoyance during the past two years from hoarseness and affection of the throat, which at times rendered public speaking somewhat difficult and painnil, i have, since my arrival m this circuit m April last— been iuduced to try your' Baxter's Lung Preserver, and I deem it only just to inform you that I have experienced great benefit from its use, being enabled to preach now with a degree of ease and com* fort to whijh I bad been some time a stranger.
