On the third resolution which committed the Conference to accept general principles of the proposed union, basis a loijig debate took place. The E^ev.J. Berry moved t an amendment that while union is desirable the proposal' fi>r present union is premature. At the. Wesloyan Conference to-day the Church Commitleo ,was appointed to conduct detailed negotiations during the year with other Methodist Churches. Methodist, and to reserve space tor publication pi Methodist Ohurch news. It was resolved that the Secretary of Hie, Conference attend the succeeding Cbnfeience ex offico.
