THE WAY A YANKEE MADE A DOZEN CHICKENS.

One of those peculiarly slab-sided, ! gaunt Yankees, which the' prolific soil; down East produces m abundance,; lately emigrated and settled down m; the vicinity 'of Chestnut Hill.
