Mr George Thomas reports fruit and produce prices as follows : — There is scarcely auy alteration m the leading lines of gram. Flour still commands £10 los to £11 for sack; ; short oa»s, 2s Gd, feed, 2s 2d to 2s 3d ; oatmeal, dull aHBIL 10s to £12; fowls' wheat, 3s ; maize, very light demand, 3s 6d to 3s 9«l ; pollard and bran, unsaleable m •parcels, l-etail q notations, £5 to £4 'ifespeptiyely. Qld potatoes, arp i}qw quite out. of the market, while the new crop is being; so rapidly forwarded that the demand is not equal to the supply ; Sydney samples realize £5, while Hutt and Onobunga kidneys move off" at £6. Onions are quite a drug, and many tow, posting shippers £9, through such large quantities being offered, ana selling for £6 and £7. Eggs are easier, realising Is 4d; bacon, 8d ; hams, 10d;j fresh butter, quite neglected, and good samples selling at sd.
