Questions before the Cabinet.
(by electric teleghaph.— copyright.) (reuter's telegrams.) London, January 8. It has transpired that a Cabinet Council was held yesterday. The position of affairs m 'E^ypt was discussed at length, but it is understood that no definite decision was arrived ; ,at as to the lineiof action that ahould be , taken for completing the pacification and consolidation of that country.,, Another meeting of the Cabinet will, however, take place .today, when it is expected that a decision involving the adoption of important measures will be agreed to.
