ROSTAND TII I S SEASON J. The Thorough- bred horse ' MUFTI. ] The attention of breeders i f solicited to the pedigree of this most fashionably bred horse, who is now in his prime and in splendid condition. :, MUFTI is by the j>renun' stallion, Tradncer, who has for the laßt three seasons stood at 100 guineas a mare. Traducer's stock have everywhere performed creditably, and include such noted animals as Lurline, Calumny, LcLoup, Betrayer, Tiump Card, Fishhook, and others-. Traducer's pedigree is a very brilliant one, as it includes all the most valued strains of the English stud for the last century. On th« dam's side Mufti is also remarkably well connected, being out of Flat Iron by Peter Flat— Emma by Gil Bias — Etnily by Operator— Flora Mclvor by Rouse's Emigrant, &c. . Peter Flat was one of the most suc- : cessful performers'that has left England, j and possesses a splendid pedigree (see btud Book). Flora Mclvor was one of tbe-tbest mares ever foaled in Australia, j and her descendants are always eagerly j sought after by breeders and racing men» Flora Mclvor was the grand dam of Figar >, Bay Middleton, Coss lck, Nutwith, Zoe, and Waimea— thp latter being the dam of Manuka, Toi Toi, and ! others. Toi Toi is rhe dam of Kakaro, Harakeke — dam of Korari. -Totura — sire of Longlands, Papapa. Rarna Kama, and other well-known psrformers. It will thus be seen that Mupti ; is well worthy of the patron?! t?e of breeders who wish to keep to racing strain-. Mufti is a golden chestnut, standing 15 hand3 3 inches high and is splendidly proportioned, and of excellent constitution. Mufti's racing performances are too well known to require any reference here. ■ ! As Mufti vr 11 net travel his advibr<» tised district this season, he wi 1 stand at his owner's i-tiblesi !
