, The Premier, accompanied by Mrs Atkinson and Mr Tudor Atkinson, left Wellington by Thursday afternoon's train for Masierton where they passed that night. On Eriday they proceeded through the Forty Mile Bush to Woodvjlle where they stayed the second night, and on Saturday morning drove on to Palmerston. A special train left there a few iniuutes after 2 o'clock, and brought the party into Wanganui about 6 o'clock on Saturday evening. The Premier was to leave for. the; North this morning m a special carriage attached to the ordinary train. He reaches New Plymouth to : night; and intends remaining there about a woek, after which he will return to -Welling--ton. -
