WRECK OF A SCHOONER.
(BT TELKWttAPH) (PEB UNITED TRESS ASSOCIATION ) ..■■-•• ArcKLAND, Dec. 27. Arrived, Ryno from the South Sea Islands. Shereports the total wreck of the Auckland schooner Pirate on the Island Mahiniki. No lives were lost. The hull was sold for 21 dbls/and the cargo for I9oodols. The larger part of tlie cargo was plundered by natives shortly after the vesSel went ashore. A portion was returned through the influence of f tb e missionary. The vessel -was owned by Mr James Macfarlane.
