A NAVAL DESERTER.
A Leap for Liberty, - <b? telegraph.) (united press association.) Auckland, Dec. 21. Two deserters from H.M..S. Lark were chased by the police to-day, when one of them, Thomas Fegler, with a view 10 avade arrest by Detective Two hey, jumped off the embankment at Admiralty House, and broke one of his ami* and leg.
