EARTHQUAKE IN THE SOUTH.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, December 18. A smart shock of earthquake was felt at Queenstown. It lasted 3 1/2 min. Direction North to South. An obstinate horse in a break caused some little excitement in the Square last night. The animal would do any thing but go, though go he had to the long run.
