Fencing wire, No. 8, has had good inquiry, and sales aye reported at Ll4 to Ll4 5s per ton. The market was glutted with this gauge a few weeks ago ; there is now little or no "iuquiry, and is quoted at L&5 to JAQ for fourbarb galvanised; there is no demand for block barb wire. Galvanised iron is fully stocked and prices are unaltered. Kerosene oil is quoted at Is 7d per gallon for test oil; the market is quite bare of 150 test. Colonial produce:, Flour, leading bi-ands, are quoted at LlO 15s to'Lll; second-class LlO to 14 Q IQ%. Qats have only a moderate demand, common feed being quoted at ■ 2s 2d to 2s 3d, and short ffeed" 2s 4s M? \ 2s 6d. 'they are somewhat easier down South, the export trade having fallen off considerably, and m view ot the approaching season, holders there prefer accepting lower to holding stocks. Brau is worth L 4; pollard, Li 10s to L 5 ; oatmeal, lls lOd ; wheat, 3s ; new potatoes, L 7 to LB.
