Commenting on the annexation of New Guinea, the Morning Post is confident that such a step will be taken. The latest news from Tonquin is to the eflvct that M Ferry has demanded the evacuation of Soutay and Bacninh. Information has been received from Madagascar stating that a great deal of sickness prevails amongst the French troops stationed at Tamalave.
