; • ' ■ » -: L Wellington Paper] On Thursday evening last Mr Henry Flyger, who has been connected with the firm of Messrs Duthie and Co. for a considerable number of years past, was the recipient of a valuable testimonial m the form of a gold hunting-lever watch and a massive gold albert and pendant. Mr Duthie, m making the presentation on behalf |of Mr Flyger's fellow employes, spoke m very flattering terms, and re* gretted that the firm were about to lose the services of the recipient; After several speeches had been made, Mr Flyger's health was drunk m bumpers, and the company then separated, The watch and chain, which are both exceedingly hand" some, were procured from the establishment of Messrs Hislop and Co., Lamb ton quay. We might add that Mr Flyger is going into business for himself at Palmers •» ston North.
