New Hebrides, and Sbuatii further notified that iMr Dalfey, Attorney General of New South Wale*; was preparing a .scheme for the reduction of charges on telegrams between Ausand Europe* which would be submitted* i to the Conference. Mr Service presented a- memorial on the subject of federation which had been drawn up by JEluropean residents m Fiji. , ..■ A Mr Dibbs, Colonial Treasurer of New South "Wales,has given noticejof motion m favor of the adoption 'of. federalquarantine at Albany (West Australia) Thursday Island (Queensland) and Auckland (New Zealand). A meeting of the sub-committee of the Jprjenuers was held this afternoon.
