New Hebrides, and Sbuatii further notified that iMr Dalfey, Attorney General of New South Wale*; was preparing a .scheme for the reduction of charges on telegrams between Ausand Europe* which would be submitted* i to the Conference. Mr Service presented a- memorial on the subject of federation which had been drawn up by JEluropean residents m Fiji. , ..■ A Mr Dibbs, Colonial Treasurer of New South "Wales,has given noticejof motion m favor of the adoption 'of. federalquarantine at Albany (West Australia) Thursday Island (Queensland) and Auckland (New Zealand). A meeting of the sub-committee of the Jprjenuers was held this afternoon. It is understoqd that an agreement has beeft arrived at on the subject of annexation which is considered satisfactory by Mr Service, the mover of the first aeries of leaojutious.
