Scoured combing and .washed fleece wools are now a £d to a Id higher than at the close of last autumn. Washed and scoured crossbreds and good greuay merinos show an advance i of^d. For new clip wool there is, a strong competition ; prices are a to Id higher, with a hardening tendency. .': :, Mflbourne, November'' 29. At their wool sale to-day, the, New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited), offered 3000 bales, the bulk of which were sold at satisfW tory prices. A parcel of v superior greasy wool brought 15£.d. There was a large attendance of buyers and brisk competition. qualities are firm at about the same prices as last sales, but inferior and faulty wools are rather lower. The catalogue to*lay was fairly representative. b ._
