(united peess association.) ' '• ( j Mastertox, Nov. 29. The spring show of the Agricultural ■' Society yesterday was, m spite of the bad season, the best all round show yet held. The poultry show m connection was a marked success. Mi Duncan M'Gregor, Chairman of the Wairarapa East County, states that early noxt year the Government will push on the opening of the waste lands of the Forty-mile Bush by roads. The Hon. Mr JRolleston is now inspecting the various blocks with this object. Auckland. November 29. In pursuance of an agreement between tho city and harbor authorities and the Frozen Meat Company, tenders will be called shortly for a reclamation contract amounting to 200,000 yards of earth. The native meeting at Waotu re the dispute there has so far resulted m nothing but talk. The natives freely display their arms. Tho speakers made adversb references to Tawbiao's proposed visit to England.
