SUCCESSFUL EXHIBITS.
At the Wairarapa Agricultural and Pastoral Show Messrs Reid <fc ttray, tie renowned implement^makers, were well represented m the agricultural class through their agents Messrs Lowes and lorns, and gained firtt prizes for double, furrow plough (silver medal) with circular coulters, set heavy harrows (4 leaf), set of di^o harrows, a Cambridge roller, reaper and binder, reaper and mower, and chaff cutter horse power^ and Becond prize 9 for plough with extra heavy coulters, aud set oi 18in disc harrows, winning the. silver medal for the reaper s*nd mower, and the Castlepoint settler's prize of four guineas for the best collection of agricultural implenrehts. ; . At the Northern Agricultural and Pastoral. AssociationVSJhq-flr iq Canter? bury, the same fjnn carried the lion's share of the awards m the harrows, and were unassailable with their disc harrows. In reapers and binders there we r e four exhibits, a.l of which attracted at» tention, the agents giving a detailed ex? planation of the various improvements which have j^een made of late to the Oiachineg, - At th& Timaru Show, m the implement department Messrs Reid & Gray ,took seven Ist prizes.
