THE CIRCUS.
A very fair house greeted the opening perforinaarice of this numerous and talented company last evening, apd the programme folly eqnalled the anticipation that have been formed of it. The equestrian feats were really exceedingly clever,, and the whole entertainment was gone through m a highly creditable, manner. Hearty applause was evoked with each succeeding feature m the programme, and the audience dispersed well pleased with the amusement provided. The circus appears this evening for the last time, as to-morrow they will play m Foxton, leaving by steamer-direct for Lyttelton to complete a tour m? the South during race week. We understand that it is their intention to return to Wellington shortly, When they will Wvel through Wairalapa, and tor Napier via Woodville. We expect a crowded house will attend the final appearance this evening when some new acts are to be introduced.
