On Monday a special first display of spring goods is promised at the above establishment, which will no doubt prove very attractive to the general public. The manager, Mr Vivian, has just returned from Wellington, bringing with him a very large and splendid assortment, a summarised catalogue ot which will be found m advertisement appearing elsewhere. Tbe most of these new goods have arrived by the direct steamer Doric, now m Wellington, and will be found of a style and quality not before seen m the distiict. On Monday the goods will be on view, and during the week the employes will probably be kept very busy m supplying the demands of customers, who will find a display, which for choice style and rare quality, they will scarcely be prepared for.
