The attention of breeders is solicited to the pedigree of this most fashionably bred hqrse, who is now m his prime and m splendid condition. . MPFTI is by ".the premier stallipn, Traducer, who has for the last three seasons stood at 100 guineas a mare. Traducer's stock have everywhere per*, formed creditably, and include such noted animals as Lurline, Calumny, Le Loup, Betrayer, Trump Card, Fishhook, and others. Traducer's pedigree is; a very brilliant one, as it includes all the most valued strains of the English staid for the last century. On the dam's side Mofti is also remarkably well, connected) being out of Flat Iron by ; Peter Flajfc— Emma by Gil Bias — Emily by Operator— Flora Mclvor by Rouse*. Emigrant, &c, Peter Flat was one of the most successful performers that has left England, and possesses a splendid pedigree (see btrid Book). Flora Mclvor.was one of the best mares ever foaled m Australia, and her descendants are always eagerly sought, after by breeders and lacing men. Flora Mclvor was the grand dam of Figar >, Bay Middleton, Cossack, Nutwith, Zoe, and Waimea— the latter being the dam of Manuka, Tpi Toi, and others. Toi Toi is. the dam of Kakapo, Harakeke— dam of Korari, Totara-— sire of Longlands, Papapaßama Kama, and other well- known performers. ; It will' thus be seen that Mufti is well worthy of the patronage of breeders who wish to ke_,*p to racing strains. Mufti is a golden chestnut, standing 15 hands 3 inches high and is splendidly proportioned, and of excellent constitution. 1 Mufti's racing performances are too well known to require any reference here.
