A COMPLAINT.
(TO THE EDITOR OF THE STANDARD.) Sir. — The promoters. of the entertainment given on Thursday evening, m the Foresters-- Hall, took special pains when . selling tickets, to impress on those purchasing, > the ! fact, that seats were num» bered'simuar ■« to a ! . plan which he carried about with him, and which ho lost no opportunity of producing, setting forth th* advantages gained by having a noma bered seat set apart, thereby preventing any confusion or inconvenience. It now turns out that not ' one of the seats was numbered, so that those who happened to come earlv^ just - sat down where they thought fit,' and -those coming afterwards' had to shift for' themselves, many having to sit m the back seats after paying 3s for a reserved seat. I . think this might easily' have -been /avoided.— l am, &c., One op the Audience.
