THE ROOKHAMPTON FIRE.
SMALLPOX.
(BY ELECTRIC TELEGBAPH. — COPYRIGHT.) (reuter's TELEGRAMS. \ Brisbane, September 14, The first estimate of £90,000 as the loss by the fire at Rpckampton is over- , stated. It is believed thaY £40,000 will cover the damage. A fresh case of smallpox occurred amongst those m quarantine from the steamship Duke of Westminster. The person attacked was one of the stevedores of the vessel.
