Funeral of Mr Marsh.
The funeral of thVlate lamented Mr Marsh took place yesterday afternoon. Ihe members of the United Manawkta Lodge, No. 1721, E.G., and Manawatu "\ Kil willing Lodge, No. 690, 8.C., and Court Manawatu, A. O. F. , ' Assembled m their several lodges about One O'clock and tbe latter body, to the number of about 70, attired m mourning regalia marched to the residehcft r of their -lato ' deceased brother. About* the same time the members of the two iVtaffonib Lodges;, who also numbered about 70, also' left their lodges, and headed by^ the' Town 1, Band proceeded to the house of /mourrii ing j Terrace End, where' the deceased had resided. The faheral proces-i sion left the hbus* at 2 b'clbok^ the Town Band playing the "Dead" March m Saul." The afternoon was",: beautifully fine, and between thiee and four hundred people folio wedfche renWna of the late deceased and respected gentleman, to his last resting-place. The funeral service was read by the Rev. Mr Worker, of Sandon. The procession of Free Masons and Foresters "was then - reformed and marched back to their\ Lodges, the band playing, appropriate musio. '
