' A despatch to hand irom Tonquin announces that the French forces have captured forts at Hue .after a bombardment of 'several hou-s' duration. J ' The Annamese loss is believed to be heavy. A commission has proceeded to Hue to treat for the cessation of hostilities with the native Prince.
