SERIOUS RIOTS IN RUSSIA.
(by electric telegraph.— coptbighr.) (retjteb's telegrams.) Melbourne, This Day. Hanlon and K<tvanagh bare admitted I they, were placed on board the Pathaa by the London detective.B. Smith, who is bound for Sydney, denies his identity, and his manner yesterday was moat violent. St. Petersburg, August 4. Telegrams are to hand from Ekaterinoslawa, a town m Southern Russia, reporting a serious anti Jewish tumult*^ there. The military were called ont to quell the disturbance. Ten rioters were killed, and thirteen seriously wounded.
