Fatal Accident.

Last night two men had to cross the Waimakariri at Kaiapoi, when the boat capsiaechr'.^Qne'rmanygtft'ashdrel' but, as the night was dark, he did not look for the -other. As the latter made ho appearance this morning his rn^te reported tojbe police, >-^ha dragged the river, and recovered the body of the deceased, who was named William Wilson, and well known m the district.
