When Mr Jno. Kennedy resigned his seat on the Wangaehu Highway Board, the Chairman characterised his action as the most childish of a public man he had ever known. Because he did not got his own wny with th a Board, he must go and lesion. Mr KenneJy was going to make a few re* marks, wh>n the Chairman informed him that it was not his place to speak ; I he had resigned his position, and was no longer anything hut an ordinary private man.
