At oar sales on Wednesday, 18th, the entries of stock were ' not so large as usual. More, however, than was adrevtised came forward, and we succeeded m placing most of it at reserve rates. The attendance for this season of the year. was good, bat there was Dot much improvement m prices. Cattle.— Fat bollocks'* medium weights, L 6 lls ; fat cows,.L4 l7s to L 6 10s ; 3J year old Bfcore bullocks, L 5 7s; store cows, L29a to L 2 128 ; 2£ year old steers and beifere, L 2 17s ; weaners, 22s to 295. Sheep. — Fat sheep, principally ewes realsed from 9s lid to 12a 7d, according to quality. The 300 store ewes did not find a purchaser, an.l were passed. - Pigs— l2s 9d to 30s.
