Sir Arthur Gordon w«s commenced, before his Honor Judge Richmond and a special jury. The action was brought for the recovery of £8000, damages for false atresfc and deporting the plaintiff out of Samoa. When the Court adjourned Mr Shaw, for the plaintiff, had not concladed the opening address. It is expected the case will last over three days.
