A special parade of the Palmerston Volunteers was held last night, for the purpose of considering the uniform question, Sergeant Major Henry, who <vas present, strongly advised the Cotnnany to procure the universal scarlet tunic, and cloth trousers, fom Home, which c<»uld ba ordered through the Governinentjinore and he obtained much cheaper and expeditiously than from Melbourne. It was resolved, after much discussion, to put IVir Henry's recommendation into effect, the Company to <ci. measured local y at once. A Volua;oer Council nas then elected for the msuing term, and the Corps was dieniued.
