They threatened to assanlf him when he came out, and constables had to escort him home m the evening. Evidently by pre-arrangement the Skeleton Army mustered and blocked the street, hooting, yelling, throwing pebbles, &o. The police captured four, and these were to-day fined a« follow-:-^Riordan, a ringleader, £10 or six months ; Criss and Craigh, £5 or six weeks ; Beath, £2 10s or one month. vßiordan and Craigh being unable to pay the fines.were sent to gaol, where Riordan has been before.
