THE TRAFFIC RETURNS.
The traffic returns for the month on the JNew Tealand Railways are—Receipts, £81,841; expenditure, £48,485; percentage of receipts, 57-32. The corresponding figures for last year are — Receipts, £81,081 ; expenditure, £45,122 ; percentage of receipts, 51---36.
