Railway Regulations.
[Wang;aDUi Herald.] Ihere has frequently been justifiable growling at the system which prevailed —on this portion of New Zealand at any rate—of only*is6uing tickets at certain stations on the line. Which has caused considerable inconvenience. Thus if a person wanted to travel from Bt i John's to Fordell, it would be necessary to alight' at Aramoho and obtain tickets, but no time was allowed for the purpose, and it often happened that person 8 would re leftbehind altogether. In future, however, this will be discontinoed, and persons getting m at trt John's or any of the small stations, can obtain tickets from the guard, will take them right on to the next booking station. The booking station on the south line will be Halcombe, and •on the north, Patea, so that any per-son-wishing to go from any of the stations between WangaLui and Halcombe to foxion must re- book at Halcombe, or from Foxton to Halcombe the other way.
