(BY TELEGRAPH.) (TrNITEI) PBESB A3BOCIATIOH".) i Auckland, June 25. [ A meeting of shareholders of the Mutual Fire Insurance Company was held this afternoon, Mr Buchanan presiding. The report and balance-sheet were read. The Chairman, m moving the adoption of the report, said shareholders were awsre that Directors had made a condential sale of the Com Dany's business and securities to the Union Insurance Company. From the accounts submitted, it would be seen that the gross premiums amounted , to the sum- of £7214, and that the result of seven months' trading was a loss \ of £1398. The Directors had all paid; up their shares. The meeting agreed, to confirm the provisional sale, and a'so to wind up the Company. ■
