Fraudulent BankRUPTCY.
CHARGE AGAINST L. L. LEVY.
VERDICT OF GUJLTY.
At tbe Wang-.nui District Court yesterday before Judge HatMcastie the charge against L. L, Levy of fraudulent ! bankruptcy was hoard before a jury, and after a lengthy t/ial a verdict of guilty was returned. His Honor, m giving sentence, said the prisoner had been found guilty of as plain and flagrant a case of fraud utan bankrupty as had come under bis notice, which could not be passed over lightly. He would ba sentenced to nine calnedar months' imprisonment ' with bard labor.
