TERRIBLE ACCIDENT.

A terrible accident occurred on Wednesday evening: last at Morea, near Greytown, by which a little girl named Annie Kelly lost her life. It appears (says the Wairarapa Daily) that as Messrs Wakelin ana Hawkins' timber waggon wa9 being driven towards Greytown by a man named Wishart, three children olimbed on the waggon behind, unknown to the driver, wno was startled by the screams ot the children, and found upon stopping that the little girl Kelly had got her legs entangled m the wheels, ani was fearfully mutilated. The flesh was torn frum the small of cbe back and legs, more particularly one leg, which was broken m several places, the knee-bone protruding and smashed. In fact, the injuries were too fearful to particularise them minutely. Dr Spratt was called m/ but the child died m about six honra.
