Dairy Factories.
With regard to the EdencUle dairy factory, a correspondent there writes : — " It is being very successfully carried on, and the practical mana<*em?nt (which devolves upon Mr and Mrs Inglis) is deserving of commen lation for the superior and uniform aaality of cheese turned out; Sioca its "starting, not a hitch has occurred to mar tie process of making, which says much for the care and attention displayed m the management. I am informei tbat j the cheese is all sold at a figure that will leave a handsome balance to the credit of the Company, anJ I only hope that every saccess may attend the enterprise. As the cheeses become seasoned or fie for removal, and before putting them into the trucks, they are •carefully packed m boxes, the miking of which entails a great deal of labor and expense. It must be very satisfactory to the promoters of such an important industry to find that they are tha first m the o jlony to turn out the quantity specified by Government, and which now entitles them to lay claim to the bonus of £500.
