Barometer further rise at ell places, north ot Napier ; at Wangkn nui farther fall, but rising at all othpr places. Sea heavy on eastern and increasing on Western Coast.. Warnings for westerly gales have been sent to places south of Castlepoint and Wanganui. Synopsis of last 24 hours north of Kaikoura and Westport, the barometer has risen during the night but it has continued to fall slowly everywhere, else.
