Sea heavy on East Coast north ; of; Kaikonra, deorease on Western Coast. ' Warnings for southerly gales have been sent to all places north of Kaikoura and Nelson. Synopsis of last 24 hours : North of- Napier and New Plymouth. The barometer has risen very slowly, but every where, else ; it-has' risen steadily. There have been southerly gales at most places south of Kaikonra and Westport, and heavy on the West.
