(BY • TB LKGRAPH. ; [united press association I Wellington, This Day. forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day. Wind between south* west and- south-east m both Islands. Barometer fall at all stations north of Napier and New Plymouth, within l2 hours further rise at all other places, but falling at East Goast stations be~ tween Lyttelton and Napier after 12 hours.' Sea heavy on East Coast north ; of; Kaikonra, deorease on Western Coast. ' Warnings for southerly gales have been sent to all places north of Kaikoura and Nelson. Synopsis of last 24 hours : North of- Napier and New Plymouth. The barometer has risen very slowly, but every where, else ; it-has' risen steadily. There have been southerly gales at most places south of Kaikonra and Westport, and heavy on the West.
