PUBLIC NOTIOHJ is hereby given that the Manchester Road Board proposes to construct the following roads, or part thereof within the Manchester Road District, under the pro- i vision of the Roads and Bridges Conn struction Act, 1882, relating to District Roads, viz. :— 1. Whibley's, Mungaone Junction, Valley and Midland, Wilson's, Ulysses, Jones, Makara, Bonnythorpe, Ppur and Taonui Roads. The ■estimated cost thereof is £18,033 2s 6d. 2. The amount of payment required on the above is £1623 annually for .fifteen years, and the amount of special rate required to meet this is one and one sixth of a penny m the pound on the rateable value of property within the Manchester Hoad Board District. 3. The plans, specifications, and' detailed estimates of the cost of the pro- . posed works may be seen at the office of the Manchester Road Board during the ordinary business hours.;. The poll for or against the above special rate wi' 1 be taken on Wednesday, the 13th day of June, 1883, at the Road Board office, Feilding, Russell's Boarding-house, Ashurst, and the Corporation office, Halcombe.
