The Masonic Order.
At the regular communication of the Grand Masonic Lodge of Ireland, held last week m Dubln, a letter was, read from Lord Wolseley asking tor a.duplicate certificate, which was granted. His Lordship stated In : his letter that he was, when m "the 90th' Foot, initiated m July, 1854, m the military lodge (728) of Dublin, m company with fiarl Ferrers, then . a.: , brother officer. His original master's certificate was lost when he was shipwrecked, and a duplicate obtained some time afterwards was destroyed with {'all his goods and chattels," ¥Ben the Pantechnicon was burned m 1874. He desired another certificate m view of the forthcoming new iodge m Manchester, to be named after himself, and to be worked on temperance principles.
